Adidas 'Kampung': The Shoes You Looking For...

Last time i have post to this blog about my mission to climb mount Kinabalu and asking what shoe which suitable for this mount climbing. So After i'm researching by looking the mountain guide and the potter (Not Harry Potter), finally i found what shoe is good for me. The shoe is, they called it as Adidas 'Kampung' The brand with 4 stripes.

Here some pic of Adidas Kampung

See... there is four stripes

can use for playing football also... full tad

If this is the real Adidas advetisement
Very high quality graphic, using Computer graphic design which is so Expensive

compare to.....

And this one our Adidas 'Kampung' advertisement with The Mountain Guide as the model
Very Cheap, And Natural, No Blurry Image

What their say about Adidas Kampung:

Individu 1:

But really, THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO CONQUER KINABALU is their best kept secret… I mean it, even if you lose you clothes, your water, you hair… all you need is this…

They call it ADIDAS KAMPUNG (village adidas). And they call it by name

This is worth more than your RM500 Timberlands, but only costs RM4.50 at a rural village market near you.

I’m not friggin’ joking ok. These babies stick to rocks like glue! Made out of one mold of industrial rubber, you know you ain’t slippin.

Individu 2:

For trekking in the jungle, a pair of walking shoes will be good. We recommend that visitors buy rubber moulded shoes (RM 5) for walking in the jungle. The reason is because we feel it is a shame to dirty good (and expensive) boots. Rubber shoes are good because they are cheap, easy to wash and dry fast (just wipe). They are commonly known here as "Adidas Kampung" (Village Adidas or 4 stripes Adidas).

I bought a pair in Cameron Highlands for trekking way back in 2002 when I was studying in KL-great for tackling the mossy forests treks up there. You can easily get them at the many sundry shops at Brinchang town.
